Guily Machovec began his career in theater, founding Cia. Olympo in 2003, for which he participated in more than 30 plays in São Paulo.

Guily Machovec iniciou sua carreira no teatro, fundando a Cia. Olympo em 2003 pela qual realizou mais de 30 espetáculo teatrais em São Paulo.

In 2009, the Sorria Project - homage to Chaplin - he discovered audiovisual and started his cinematographic studies.

Em 2009, com o projeto Sorria - homenagem ao Chaplin - descobriu o audiovisual e deu partida em seus estudos cinematográficos. 

In 2013, his first short film "Adagio da Procura" produced by Brodagem Filmes, won a place in the official selection of the DANZATAC (ESP) film festival. From then on, there were several shorts, selections, awards and nominations at national and international festivals.

Em 2013, sua primeiro curta "Adagio da Procura" produzido pela Brodagem Filmes, conquistou um lugar na seleção oficial do festival de cinema DANZATAC (ESP). Daí em diante, foram diversos curtas, seleções, prêmios e indicações em festivais nacionais e internacionais.

His first feature film #NUDES premiered in Brazil at MIS (Museum of Image and Sound in SP) and the world premier was in India at Diorama International Film Fest.

Seu primeiro longa-metragem #NUDES estreou no MIS (museu da imagem e do som de SP) e no Diorama International Film Fest na Índia.
